REWE, a parish in St. Thomas district, Devon; on the river Culm and the Bristol and Exeter railway, 1½mile N E of Stoke-Canon r. station, and 4½ N N E of Exeter. It includes the tything of Up-Exe, and has a post-office under Exeter. Acres, 1, 346. Real property, £1, 498. Pop., 260. Houses, 54. The property is divided among a few. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter. Value, £394.* Patron, alternately the Earl of Ilchester and the Trustees of the Earl of Egremont. The church is of the 13th century. Charities, £4.
