HEOL-WERMOOD, a hamlet in Merthyr-Tydvil parish, Glamorgan; near Merthyr-Tydvil. Real property, £99, 859; of which £10.752 are in mines, £61, 595 in iron works, £422 in railways, and £1, 400 in gas works See Merthyr-Tydvil.
The location is a point roughly between Dowlais and Penydarren, but the hamlet of Heol Wermood covered a large part of the parish of Merthyr Tydvil, including the town of Merthyr itself.
