COLNEIS, a sub-district in Woodbridge district, Suffolk. It comprises the peninsula SE of Ipswich, between the Orwell river and the Deben; and contains fifteen parishes and an extra-parochial tract. Acres, 28, 365. Pop., 5, 883. Houses, 1, 224.
