BANGOR, a parish in Newcastle-in-Emlyn district, Cardigan; on the river Teifi, 5 miles E of Newcastle Emlyn r. station. Post Town, Newcastle-Emlyn, under Carmarthen. Acres, 1,392. Real property, £978. Pop., 204. Houses, 41. The property is divided among a few. The manor belonged to the Pistogs. The living is a rectory united with Henllan, in the diocese of St. David's. Value, £163. Patron, the Bishop of St. David's. The church is good.
