THORPE-ST PETER, a parish, with a scattered village, in Spilsby district, Lincoln; 1½ mile NNW of Wainfleet, and 2½ ESE of Firsby r. station. Post town, Wainfleet, under Boston. Acres, 2,880. Real property, £6,242. Pop., 593. Houses, 124. The manor belongs to B. Reynardson, Esq. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lincoln. Value, £340. Patron, W. Hopkinson, Esq. The church is good. There are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels, and charities £5.
