Descriptive gazetteer entries

In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described South Wraxall like this:

Wraxhall, South, eccl. dist. and vil., Bradford on Avon par., Wilts - dist. (Atworth with South Wraxhall), pop. 1018; vil., 2½ miles N. of Bradford on Avon.

This is the only descriptive gazetter entry we have found, but you may be able to find further references to South Wraxall by doing a full-text search here.
