South Gosforth, town with ry. sta. (Gosforth), Gosforth par., Northumberland, 2 miles N. of Newcastle, pop. 4126; P.O., T.O., called Gosforth; comprises the townships of South Gosforth and Coxlodge, and is a local government district.
