This section of GBHDB contains derived datasets related to political life. This means primarily datasets which include constituency-level voting statistics, but also contain possible explanatory variables drawn from elsewhere in the system. As few other historical statistics are available for constituencies, these other variables will usually have been constructed by some form of re-districting procedure, applied most obviously to census data originally reported for some kind of district.
