Gilbertfield, a decayed mansion in Cambuslang parish, Lanarkshire, at the N base of Dechmont Hill, 1 mile SE of the town. Built in 1607, it was for some time the residence of Allan Ramsay's friend and brotherpoet, Lieutenant William Hamilton of Gilbertfield (1670-1751).
